Hier habe ich noch ein Layout mit den schönen Kesi-Art Papieren aus dem März-Kit von Dani Peuss.
Zu sehen ist Edgar, der uns immer sehr eindringlich daran erinnert, dass es Zeit für unseren Spaziergang ist.

Another layout made with the March kit from Dani Peuss which contains beautiful papers from Kesi Art.
The picture shows Edgar, reminding us, that it's time for a walk.

Der Hintergrund ist mit einer Schablone, Strukturpaste und Farbspray gestaltet.Die Sprechblase habe ich ausgeschnitten und mit einem Klartext-Stempel gestempelt.

For creating the background I used a template, modeling paste and color mist.I cut out the speech bubble and stamped the text in it.(It says: "Can anybody hear me? Anybody? Hello!")

Ich liebe es, zu Dekorieren und ebenso gerne mag ich es, in Geschäften zu stöbern und nach dekorativen Kleinigkeiten Ausschau zu halten.So ist es kein Wunder, dass ich von einem meiner letzten Stadtbummel mit
*etwas* neuer Osterdeko nach Hause kam. Die Beute wurde natürlich direkt abgelichtet und nun habe ich das Foto auf einem Layout verewigt. Benutzt habe ich dafür die schönen Papiere von Basic Grey (Knee Highs & Bow Ties)

Die großen Farbkleckse sind mit Distress Stains gemacht.

Der kleine Holzhase sitzt in einem Nest mit *Eiern* aus Enamel Dots.

The big splashes are made with Distress Stains.

The little wood veneer bunny is sitting in a nest of *eggs* made of enamel dots.

Wenn es geschneit hat, ist es im Wald ganz still. Der Schnee scheint alle Geräusche zu schlucken, bis auf das Knirschen der eigenen Schritte.Ringsum ist alles still und friedlich - einfach schön.

When it snows, it is totally qiet in the forest.All you hear is the noise your shoes make when you walk through the snow. It's such a peaceful atmosphere.I love it.

Ich habe für euch eine frühlingshafte Leinwand inklusive Anleitung.

I have a mixed media canvas with tutorial for you.

Folgendes benötigt ihr für dieses Projekt:
These are the supplies you need for this project:

Leinwand/Canvas 20x30cm, Gesso, Acrylfarben/Acrylic paint, Spachtel/spatule, Stempel nach Wahl/ stamps, Archival Ink Stempelkissen /stamp pad, Wood Veneers, Enamel Dots





Ich habe u.a. folgende Stempel benutzt: 
 My Minds Eye für die Blüten
Klartextstempelset Schmetterlinge 
Klartext Stempelset *Schreibmaschine* Alphabet 
Stempelset Technique Tuesday *Kids are cool*
Klartext Stempelset A7 Schmetterling
(nicht der, den ich benutzt habe, aber ähnlich)



  Zuerst wird ausreichend Gesso auf die Leinwand aufgetragen und mit dem Spachtel oder einem ähnlichen Hilfsmittel verstrichen.
First of all apply some gesso and spread it over the canvas with the spatule.

Das Ganze sieht dann so aus:
It should look like this:

Das Ganze trocknen lassen, oder mit dem Heißluftföhn trocknen.
Let dry or dry with a heat tool.


Dann die erste Farbe auftragen und verstreichen.
Then apply the first colour and spread it .

Die Farbe muss das Gesso nicht komplett abdecken.
It's ok if you can see the gesso through the paint.

Und wieder trockenen lassen.
Let dry.

Nun kommt die zweite Farbschicht.
Now apply the second colour.

Zum Schluss die dritte Farbe auftragen und verteilen.
 And now apply the last colour ,

So sieht das Werk nun aus:
This is how your canvas should look now:

Als nächstes wird Acrylfarbe auf einen Stempel aufgetragen und damit ein Muster auf die Leinwand gebracht.(Den Stempel anschließend sofort abspülen, da die Acrylfarbe nach dem Trocknen nicht mehr entfernt werden kann.)

In the next step apply acrylic paint on a stamp and stamp a pattern on the canvas. (The stamp has to be cleaned immediately because the acrylic paint can't be removed after drying.)

Unser Hintergrund ist nun fertig und kann nun nach Lust und Laune mit frühlingshaften Motiven bestempelt werden.Noch ein Tipp: Da die Leinwand nachgiebt empfiehlt es sich an der Stelle wo gestempelt werden soll etwas unterzulegen (z,B. ein Buch), um einen gleichmäßigen Stempelabdruck zu bekommen.

Our background is ready now and we can stamp on it. Put a book under the canvas before stamping to get a stabile surface.

Zum Schluss habe ich noch ein paar Schmetterlinge aus Holz und einige Enamel Dots aufgeklebt, damit das Ganze etwas dimensionaler wirkt.
Finally I added some wood veneer butterflies and some enamel dots for a more dimensional effect.

Ein weiteres Layout mit dem April-Kit von Dani Peuss.
Das Foto zeigt Arnold mit seinem grün-gelben Lieblingsfußball. Die gab es eine lange Zeit als Werbegeschenke.Als damit Schluss war, hat sich Arnold sämtlichen andersfarbigen Fußbällen verweigert.
Erst nach ein paar Wochen hat er eingesehen, dass ein andersfarbiger Fußball immer noch besser ist ,als kein Fußball. Er ist eben eine Diva, oder wie mein Mann es ausdrückt: *Dieser Hund ist innen so blond ,wie außen.* (Und genau dafür lieben wir Arnold) ;-)

The picture shows Arnold with his football.For a long time we got these green and yellow footballs from a friend .(They were promotional gifts). But every campaign has an end and we had a problem.Arnold didn't accept any football in another colour. His football had to be green and yellow.
It took a few weeks for him to decide that to have a football in another colour is better than  to have no football at all.Yes, he is a typical blonde diva and that's why we love him. ;-)

Ich durfte schon vorab mit dem tollen April-Kit von Dani Peuss  arbeiten und es hat riesig Spaß gemacht.;-)

Tolle Papiere sind enthalten und wunderschöne Embellies, wie z.B. Brads von My Minds Eye und Wood Veneer Kameras von Prima.
Eines der Layouts, die ich mit diesem Kit gestaltet habe, möchte ich heute hier zeigen.(Weitere werden folgen).

I spent the last weeks playing around with the April kit from Dani Peuss. Lucky me! ;-)
The kit contains beautiful papers and embellishments, like brads from My Minds Eye and wood veneer Cameras from Prima.
Today I want to show you one of the layouts I created with the kit . (Others will follow soon).

Der Hintergrund ist mit Farbe gesprüht. Die Papiere sind stellenweise leicht mit Gesso und verdünnter Sprühfarbe bemalt und mit Stickles bestrichen. Die schwarzen Alphas habe ich erst mit weißer und dann mit mintfarbener Acrylfarbe bemalt und mit Stickles überzogen.Auch die Zackenkreise haben eine Sticjkles-Umrandung bekommen.

I used color mist in the background and gesso and color mist on the papers.I also added some Stickles.
The black alphas from the kit are painted first with white and then mint acrylic paint.Finally I covered them with Stickles.I also used Stickles on the borders of the circles which I cut out from one of the patterned papers the kit contains.
